We use the latest bonding techniques to place very
translucent, metal-free cosmetic crowns (caps).
Digital X-Rays
Digital radiography is the latest way to take and evaluate x-rays. We use
digital x-rays, which means 80% less radiation is used to produce
high-quality images that enable awesome diagnostic values, such as much
easier detection of any problems. Digital x-rays also provide a large image,
which makes it easier for patients to see and understand what is happening
with their teeth.

Intraoral Camera
We use small cameras right inside your mouth to take highly magnified
digital photos of your teeth. These photos can be displayed on a computer
screen for both patient and doctor, and are invaluable in diagnosing and
recording dental problems. Intra-oral photos also allow our patients to
view what the dentist sees when they are evaluating your teeth.
Diagnodent
Locating hidden decay before it destroys tooth structure (from the
inside out) is a major goal at Today's Smile. Finding cavities beneath
the hard surfaces is challenging because the disease process can start
through microscopic defects in the hard surface can spread into the
softer tooth structure beneath the surface.
Recently FDA approved this amazing
laser cavity finder which instantly and accurately finds cavities in
areas x-rays rarely see and the dental pick misses 76% of the time.

Diagnodent is a major breakthrough that allows us to monitor the areas below
the hard surfaces. We can now locate hidden decay, and with treatment stop
the spread of the disease before it destroys the tooth from within.
